Meet Zach Tonzetich inside the gate past the cashier’s window. The entry fee is $9 and $7 for 65+ seniors or by annual pass. The tour will move along the trails and the lake shore by car and on foot. Binoculars and scopes will improve birding of waterfowl at a distance. Expect a great variety of passerines and waterfowl. Proceed south on IH-37. Exit US 181 towards Floresville, proceeding 6.5 miles to Loop1604. Turn left on 1604 and travel 1.5 miles to another left on Stuart Road. Proceed 1.3 miles and turn left on Bernhardt Road.
