Meet retired Texas Parks & Wildlife Biologist Rhandy Helton for his secret area hot spots and a tour of one of the parks four blinds.  This is a car tour plus a 2 mile roundtrip hike to Golden-cheeked and Black-capped areas. Please buy park tickets in advance online to speed entry of the group into the park.  One car pass covers all car passengers.  Bring water, wear boots.  Tour ends midafternoon; in park birding is available until park closes.  Meet and carpool at the Sunoco Gas Station off IH-10 on Exit 457, known as FM2169 or Martinez Street.
